Lowell Stuck is the new Executive Director for the Butte Symphony Association. He has 45 years of experience in commercial printing and tax auditing in Oregon, but has always been active in the performing arts community. He began his love of music as a child and studied piano, percussion and voice with the faculty of Andrews University, Interlochen and the University of Michigan, before settling into a business career. He was the student conductor under Willis Patterson and business manager of the University of Michigan Men’s Glee Club, a member of the Friar’s, and has produced local concerts in SW Michigan as well as directing choral groups and performing in musical theater.
Lowell retired and moved to Butte earlier in 2019, but found the opportunity to work with the Symphony in pursuing its goal of providing great music to the people of SW Montana too hard to resist. It is an exciting opportunity for all involved.
