Lowell Stuck

Executive Director

Lowell Stuck is the Executive Director for the Butte Symphony Association. He has 45 years of experience in commercial printing and tax auditing in Oregon, but has always been active in the performing arts community.

He began his love of music as a child and studied piano, percussion and voice with the faculty of Andrews University, Interlochen and the University of Michigan, before settling into a business career. He was the student conductor under Dr. Willis Patterson of the University of Michigan Men’s Glee Club, a member of the Friars, and has produced local concerts in SW Michigan as well as directing choral groups and performing in musical theater.

Lowell retired and moved to Butte in 2019, but found the opportunity to work with the Butte Symphony too hard to resist.
