Pianist, Guest Artist
Born in Osaka, Japan, Azusa Hokugo holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Performance from Rutgers University, New Jersey. Her Bachelor of Music degree in Performance with honors is from the prestigious Toho Gakuen University College of Music. She currently performs and teaches in Southern California. She first appeared with the Butte Symphony last year with the Ahn Trio for the Beethoven Triple Concerto and connected to our audience immediately.
Former professor of music at Mahidol University in Bangkok, she has been concertizing in the US and Asia for the past 20 years.
